The word heritage means “traditions”. Each year we celebrate with events for the entire family, parades, antique tractors and lots of entertainment.
One weekend each year we come together as a community to work, play, share, serve and even show off a little. We celebrate our little community in a very big way! Everyone is invited to join us!

Visit "Rendezvous", a pre 1840 encampment. Here you can travel back in time when Indiana was first being settled and the great west was being explored by fur trappers and traders. These re-enactors demonstrate life on the early frontier, a LIVING example of the fur trade era. Rendezvous is dedicated to preserving the traditions and ways of our nation's greatest, most daring explorers and pioneers.
Relax and spend some time browsing the exhibits at the Annual Quilt & Wood Carving Show, located in the Frankton Heritage Days Building this year!

You haven't lived until you've participated in Mud Wrestling ... a new meaning to the phrase "down and dirty." Much more than attacking each other, it's a lot of fun and very entertaining.
Our "Central Indiana Kids Pedal Tractor Pull" Competitions will be happening again this year. Kids from three to eleven are welcome to be in the show for free and compete in a fast paced, action packed, pedal tractor pull. It is our mission to positively uplift each child, help create a healthy self esteem, and leave each child with a giant smile on his or her face!
“The kids make the show special, it’s all about them. This performance is a celebration of each childs accomplishments.

When hot air balloons lifted off at the Frankton Indiana Heritage Days, they signified the Charter Celebration of the new RAC Trykes AMBUCS of Muncie, Indiana. The event was held the weekend of September 17, 2012.
The profits from the balloon rides provided the first fund raiser for the new chapter and helped them purchase their first two AmTrykes. We raised $900.00 and gave away one tryke and contributed toward another.
